Small Storage Units

You do not need a big unit to free up space at home. Small storage units, from about 5x5 up to 5x15, are a low-cost way to store seasonal decorations, boxes, sports gear, small furniture, business files or the overflow from an apartment or dorm.

What fits in a small unit

  • 5x5: about the size of a small closet. Boxes, bins, seasonal items and a small chair or two.
  • 5x10: about the size of a walk-in closet. A mattress set, a dresser and boxes, or a studio apartment's extras.
  • 5x15: room for the contents of a small one-bedroom apartment without the large furniture.

See our size guide for more detail.
